The MiniCrib toolcrib scanner is built on the popular and simple to use Palm Pilot platform that incorporates a high output Symbol laser scanner on the top of the unit. This gives tool crib users the ability to scan barcodes with the touch of a button and perform many of the most common dispensing tasks performed with tool crib software packages that cost tens of thousands of dollars. Tool Crib or stores attendants can move around without being tethered to computer terminal or a stationary input device. The MiniCrib toolcrib scanner is resistant to damage from dropping as all internal mechanisms float on shock absorbers. The device is available in two versions, one that uses data synchronization over a cable and another that can perform its synchronization wirelessly.
